Who doesn’t love getting a few presents each month? We all work hard, we deserve a few treats here and there. After being subscribed to an endless amount of subscription services, I have found my top 3. What I really love about the subscriptions is that they’re all surprises and they arrive once every month. For someone who gets into a routine with make-up products, foods, beauty products, jewelry, and clothes, the subscription services have really helped me discover new products, styles, and more. I am forced to try new moisturizers, bronzers, and I even tried out some blush, which I never thought I could pull off. All in all, they are pretty affordable and you can set your preferences so you can still get things for your skin type, body type, eating habits, and more. Here are some of my favorites:
1. Popsugar Must Have Box
At $35 a month (3 month, 6 month, and 1 year package deals are available), this box arrives with the latest in fashion, beauty, home, fitness, and food. The box always values at much more than what you pay for, upwards of $75 or more for the combined value of all the products included in the box. In the past, I’ve received a robe, scarf, moisturizer, necklaces, chocolate, make up applicators, sunblock, bracelets and discount cards for many of the products that come in the box in case I end up liking something. I am usually very excited and satisfied with the items in the box. You can also receive a book, for example, Revenge Wears Prada, was in my box two months ago. You might not love every single item, but generally, each one is a hit and exposure to the hottest item on the market that actually ends up being useful. Click this link to subscribe, you definitely won’t be disappointed. Use the code “REFER5” to get $5 off your first box!
Ipsy is very similar to Birchbox, but I like Ipsy better because you tend to get more full sized products and a super cute make-up bag to store all your products in each month. It is mainly make-up products for your face including anything from bronzer to eyeliner. Sometimes you get hair products. I’ve gotten tinted moisturizers as well. It was due to this subscription that I started to use blush and it has been a great transformation from my regular bronzing routine. At $10 a month, this is a great way to treat yourself each month. You also sign up for an account online where they set up your “Glam Room” each month that includes all the products you received each month. If you happen to love something, you can reorder it and often there are flash sales and promo codes you can use to get the product for even cheaper. Each month, the bag is themed. For July, it was Beach Beauty and I got some humidity resistant spray for my hair, salt air perfume roll on, soft eye shadow colors, and a lipstick crayon in pink. May was Spring Fling themed and I got concealer, nail polish, hair oil treatment, and lipgloss. You get the idea. Click this link to subscribe!
At $25 a month, you get the change to wear designer jewelry and send it back when you’re bored and want to refresh your collection. Doesn’t that sound great? It runs like a rental service where you pay the subscription fee each month. The great thing about this box is that you can send it back as many times as you want in one month and you still will only pay the one-time $25 fee each month. You can get a box and hate the jewelry and send it right back. The service is pretty quick and you’ll have a new box within just a few days. Each box is wrapped with a pretty pink bowl and comes with return shipping and packaging so it completely hassle-free. If you happen to like one of the pieces, you can just hold on to it and check it off on the small card they provide for feedback. Once you do that, they’ll charge it to your account. I was subscribed to this for a while, but I’m not a huge accessory person so I stopped my subscription, but I suggest this for anyone that loves dressing up with great statement necklaces, bracelets, earrings and more. You can set your profile preferences and based on that you will receive jewelry. It is a great service and I recommend it to anyone that is a super fashionista and loves dressing up their look. Each box values at over $200 in designer pieces. You just can’t go wrong. Subscribe here!
